CJM Investment Property Advisors is a full-service commercial real estate appraisal and advisory firm covering Washington, Northern Idaho and Oregon. Carl J. (Chuck) Munson, MAI, formed the appraisal company C.J. Munson & Associates, Inc., in Bellevue, Washington, in 1988. A name change to CJM Investment Property Advisors in 1998 was intended to better reflect the company’s collegial nature, with several senior appraisers nearing completion of requirements for the MAI designation. |

Chuck Munson, MAI, President, has been a commercial appraiser in the Seattle area for over thirty years. He is a member of the Appraisal Institute and Past President of the Seattle Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
CJM Experience and Specialization CJM appraisers are either designated, Associate or Affiliate members of the Appraisal Institute. Designated members have met rigorous requirements relating to education, testing, experience and demonstration of knowledge, understanding and ability. Appraisers holding the MAI designation are leaders in valuation and evaluation of commercial, industrial and residential properties. Joe Harris, MAI, received the MAI designation in 2004 and has subsequently been approved by all major CJM clients. He has a wide range of experience appraising commercial property types including shopping centers, industrial parks, office buildings, hotels, apartments, condominiums, and residential subdivisions. Joe appraises properties throughout Washington State with an emphasis on the central and south Puget Sound areas.
Hillary Huefner, MAI, is based in Portland, and received the MAI designation in 2009. She appraises all commercial property types, e.g., apartments, shopping centers, office buildings, and hotels, as well as subdivisions and condominium complexes. Hillary has a unique property specialty: worship facilities. Hillary appraises properties in both Washington and Oregon.
